On December 12, 2019 at approximately 2:29pm, the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to W. Territorial Rd west of Mead Rd in Camden Township for a 3-vehicle crash.

Dylan Joseph Hensley, age 25, of Camden, MI was traveling east on W. Territorial Rd and was passing Johnathan Glen Compton, age 27, of Cygnet, OH in a passing zone. As Hensley was passing, Compton also began to pass a third vehicle and pushed Hensley into a guard rail. Compton then came back into his lane and struck Candy M. Baker, age 49, of Alvordton, OH who was also traveling east bound on W. Territorial Rd.

All operators were wearing their seat belts. Baker was transported by Reading Emergency Unit to Cameron Hospital for minor injuries sustained.
