Mason Scott Grissam

June 25, 2006 - February 24, 2020

Mason Scott Grissam, 13, of Reading Michigan, suddenly passed away Monday, February 24, 2020 of unknown causes. Mason was born June 25, 2006 in Round Rock Texas to Gregory Grissam and J. Arin Grissam (Smith).

Surviving besides his parents are his little brother, Davis Grissam; grandparents, Larry and Paula Smith and Charlie and Carol Grissam; Great grandmother, Mary Lou Smith; uncles Chuck and Josh Grissam; and aunts, Sky Fuller, Jordan Nordvik and Cody Worch.

Mason was an eighth grader at Reading Community Schools. He loved everything to do with trains, from riding them, to talking about them, to playing with them all day and night. Mason loved anything to do with water and swimming. He was obsessed with eating cheeseburgers, dancing to music with his family and friends, Jesus and playing with his cousins.

Mason had a ministry all his own. He never knew a stranger, greeting and spreading love to everyone he met. Walking through the halls of his school, Mason would greet and say hello to everyone he saw. Mason brought joy, love, and acceptance to so many. Mason prayed and talked with Jesus often, spreading His good news through his smile, hugs, complements, and hilarious laugh. Mason will be missed greatly by all who had the honor of knowing him!

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, February 28, 2020 from 3 to 8 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Reading, Michigan.
