Jon F. Clark, 65 of Morenci died unexpectedly early Friday evening, September 13, 2019, at Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon, Ohio. He was born August 12, 1954, in Hudson, MI to the late James W. “Bill” and Reva M. (Miner) Clark. He married the love of his life, Cathleen Cornell on December 9, 1978, in Adrian, MI and she survives.
Jon graduated from Morenci High School Class of 1972. He was employed at Napoleon Lynx in Archbold, OH for over 44 years. His hobbies included bowling, fishing, golfing, camping with his family, and making daily campfires. He loved being in the company of his family, especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and attending their sporting events.
In addition to his wife, Cathleen of 40 years, he is survived by three children, Amy (Caleb) Peck of Clinton, MI, Jon Frederick Clark Jr. of Morenci, MI, and Erin (Todd) Gilpin of Ypsilanti Twp., MI; seven grandchildren, Bradyn, Isaac, Elizabeth, Tessa, Tyler, Josh and Kenneke; a brother, James (Diana) Clark of Manitou Beach, MI; a brother in-law, David Milliman of Manitou Beach, MI; several nieces, nephews, his cat and little buddy, Bell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Valerie Milliman.
At Jon’s request cremation has taken place. A memorial service for Jon will be held Sunday, September 29, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Morenci First Congregational Church with Pastor Brad Heiple officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Morenci at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Eagle Funeral Homes of Morenci.
